The city of Hobart is the capital of Tasmania. Located on the south east coast, it is home to a world-visited harbor, and half of Tasmania’s population. Hobart may be the second oldest city in Australia, but it is still an extremely beautiful city that has managed to hold on to its charm and is home to a very friendly community. Because of the warmth and support this city offers, it is a perfect city to study in.

Hobart only has one choice of university and that is the university of Tasmania. However being controlled by the government has meant a lot of helpful resources being fuelled into its development. The University of Tasmania is one of Australia’s original universities and has managed to keep its prestige over the years.
